as 2008 draws to a close and we step into 2009, i would like to take this opprtunity to celebrate the fact that i survived this year with my health, sanity, and all my fingers. low expectations, i know, but not everyone can be so lucky.

it has been a hell of a year; sometimes i can hardly believe everything happened within 365 days.

start of j2 was a blast; love you guys 3O :)
united won the title AGAIN. fucking brilliant :)
united beat chelski to lift the champions league trophy AGAIN. even fuckinger brilliant :D
failing my CTs was not a blast :(
fucking up prelims was not a blast :(
studying to the brink of insanity was not a blast :(
the a levels WERE NOT A BLAST :(((
wrapping up 12 years of govt education was a blast. a relief. a burden lifted. :)))
prom was a blast :)
waiting for enlistment was dreadful :(
enlisting was enriching :)
NS has been fun so far :)
GETTING MY RIFLE WAS AWESOME :D
and now having a long break for new year is great :)

all in all, life has been great in 2008. of course, im no investor, or american house-owner, nor am i hillary clinton, which would explain my more cheerful outlook at the past year. but its these small bright embers amongst the doom and gloom about that make life a jot living, yes?
